Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Haur-Fakkan. This position will offer a salary of 1700 per month and is open to immigrant applicants with no prior experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical services in accordance with applicable regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in all prescriptions filled as well as providing patient counseling on the safe use of medications. Additional duties include but are not limited to: maintaining accurate records; performing inventory control; ordering medications; participating in drug utilization review programs; facilitating communications between physicians and patients; setting up immunization clinics; supervising pharmacy technicians; adhering to federal state laws regarding controlled substances; overseeing the performance of pharmacy technicians; tracking patient responses/outcomes; evaluating new technology/products related to pharmacy services.

Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate must possess a Pharmacy degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent combination of education/experience. Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must have excellent communication skills both verbally & written with the ability to understand customers’ needs & concerns as well as state & federal laws regarding controlled substances. Additionally must have basic computer knowledge such as Microsoft Office Suite & software related to pharmacy operations (e.g., prescription processing).

Other Requirements:
Must possess an active Pharmacist license from the State Board of Pharmacy where applicable or eligibility for licensure if located outside of the United States. Must pass a background check & drug screening prior to hire date. Must be able to work various shifts including days, evenings & weekends as needed by the business demands.
