We are looking for a Cashier to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cash transactions, ensuring accuracy in all exchanges, and providing exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and numerical accuracy. He or she should also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with customers. A reliable attitude, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Accurately process cash payments from customers
• Maintain accurate records of transactions in the POS system
• Receive payments by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits
• Issue receipts and change when necessary
• Answer customer questions about their purchase
• Assist customers with return/exchange purchases as needed
• Balance the cash register at the end of each shift
• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent education required; college degree preferred
• Previous experience working in a retail environment is strongly preferred
• Must have strong numerical accuracy and basic accounting knowledge
• Working knowledge of POS systems is beneficial
• Excellent customer service skills required
