We are looking for an experienced and reliable Cashier to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and orderly checkout area.

Job Description:
The Cashier will be responsible for effectively managing the cash register area in order to ensure that customers receive efficient and courteous service. The Cashier will also be expected to assist customers with locating items and answering questions regarding products or services. The Cashier must also maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions as well as comply with all company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous cash handling experience is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license may be required in some locations
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Basic math skills are necessary for accurate count of money in the till at the end of the shift

Job Responsibilities:
• Greet customers as they enter the store and provide them with assistance throughout their stay
• Operate cash register to process payments from customers
• Answer customer inquiries about product selection, pricing, availability, etc.
• Maintain a clean checkout area by sweeping the floor, wiping down counters, etc.
• Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning of each shift to ensure accuracy
• Assist with stocking shelves when needed
• Handle returns or exchanges in a professional manner
