The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading the kitchen staff in producing top-notch quality dishes and ensuring that all food is served according to our standards. The Executive Chef will also be responsible for overseeing the management of the kitchen staff and for ensuring that all food safety protocols are followed.
The ideal candidate should possess a combination of culinary experience, leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities. They should have an enthusiasm for cooking and an ability to create innovative dishes from fresh ingredients.
Qualifications:
-A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Executive Chef in a 5-star restaurant or hotel environment
-Strong culinary education with emphasis on French cuisine preferred
-Knowledge of food safety protocols and regulations
-Excellent management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and mentor staff
-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
-Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
-Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment

Job Responsibilities:
-Leading the kitchen staff by setting goals and providing guidance in day-to-day operations
-Developing menus based on cost considerations while maintaining high quality standards
-Ensuring that all food safety protocols are followed
-Train kitchen staff in proper techniques such as knife handling, food preparation techniques, sanitation protocols etc -Ordering supplies such as produce or cleaning supplies as needed -Monitoring costs associated with food production -Overseeing inventory management systems
