Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and experienced Chef to join our team in Doha. Our ideal candidate has a passion for cooking delicious meals, as well as the ability to work effectively with others in a busy kitchen environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality dishes that meet our standards of excellence.
Needs for the Candidate
The ideal candidate must have excellent culinary skills and a keen eye for quality ingredients. The ability to work collaboratively with other chefs and kitchen staff is essential as is the ability to work under pressure while producing consistently high-quality dishes. Previous experience in a professional kitchen is beneficial but not required.
Job Responsibilities
The Chefâs primary duties include: preparing meals according to set recipes; ensuring food safety regulations are followed; managing staff including training and scheduling; using high-end kitchen equipment; maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen; ordering ingredients when necessary; and ensuring that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality.
Qualification and Education Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess excellent culinary skills, knowledge of food safety regulations, strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, good communication abilities, an understanding of nutrition principles, and creativity in developing new recipes. A minimum of 2 yearsâ experience in a professional kitchen or related environment is preferred but not required. Applicants must have valid certificates or diplomas from recognized culinary institutions or equivalent experience.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary of 1700 per month plus benefits including health insurance coverage, paid vacation leave, sick leave, retirement plan contribution matching up to 3%, and discounted meals at our restaurants.
