Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team in Doha. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all cash transactions in our store. You will be expected to accurately handle money, provide excellent customer service and help maintain a clean and safe environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process sales transactions quickly and accurately
- Balance cash drawers at the end of each shift
- Provide customers with information on promotions and discounts
- Answer customer inquiries in a polite and friendly manner
- Maintain a clean and organized check out area
- Report any discrepancies to management
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe workplace environment
Job Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in the retail industry is preferred
- Knowledge of cash register operations and security procedures is required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deal professionally with customers, co-workers, and management staff
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, able to lift up to 25 lbs., and perform repetitive motions such as typing or data entry
- Must be available to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays as needed
Desired Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Previous experience working with point of sale systems is beneficial - Ability to count money quickly and accurately - Flexible team player who can adapt quickly to changes
