Cashier in Ajman, UAE
Ajman is looking for an experienced Cashier to join their team. The successful candidate should be able to handle cash transactions with accuracy and efficiency and maintain a friendly and professional customer service at all times.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in the field, preferably in a retail setting. They should also be familiar with cash register operations, basic math, customer service principles, and money handling processes. The candidate should be an excellent communicator who is able to demonstrate strong organizational skills and multitask efficiently.
The Cashier’s main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Processing purchases by operating cash registers and other applicable equipment;
• Receiving payments from customers in cash or other forms;
• Counting out change for customers;
• Balancing the cash register at the end of each shift;
• Following all relevant laws regarding cash handling;
• Keeping a neat and clean workspace;
• Assisting customers with inquiries about products or services when needed;
• Maintaining records of customer transactions for future reference.
The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate good problem-solving skills as well as the ability to stay calm under pressure when dealing with difficult customers or situations. They should also be able to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the situation. Immigration candidates are welcome for this position. The salary offered is 1600 AED per month.
