Accountant in Reef Al Fujairah City, UAE


We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team at Reef Al Fujairah City. You will be responsible for managing financial systems and processes as well as maintaining accurate records and preparing financial statements.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Additionally, you should be familiar with financial analysis techniques, tax returns preparation, and financial software.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and hold a professional accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent). Previous experience in a similar role is desirable. To excel in this position, you should demonstrate strong leadership skills and have the ability to work autonomously.

You will be expected to perform the following duties:
- Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses
- Develop monthly accounting reports detailing financial performance
- Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- File quarterly tax returns in accordance with local regulations
- Interpret data to recommend changes that increase profits or reduce costs
- Keep abreast of accounting regulations changes
