We are seeking an experienced, friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team in Ajman. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, organized and have a strong customer service focus. They should also possess excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with staff members.
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of cash register systems or point-of-sale (POS) software
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic math skills

Responsibilities:
• Greet customers when they enter the store.
• Answer questions about products or services.
• Calculate prices using calculators or cash registers.
• Process payments using cash registers, credit card machines, or other electronic equipment. • Balance cash at the end of each shift. • Assist customers with returns, refunds or complaints in a professional manner. • Stock shelves with merchandise as needed. • Ensure store shelves are adequately supplied with merchandise throughout the day. • Monitor customer traffic to ensure all customers receive prompt service. • Follow security procedures when handling money or other sensitive information.
