Part-Time Librarian - Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE (Preference Given to Indian Nationals)

We are seeking a part-time librarian for our library in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE. Preference will be given to Indian nationals. No English language skills are required for this job.

The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining library materials and resources, issuing books, assisting readers with queries, searching online databases and catalogs, and helping to develop the library's collections. They will also assist in teaching classes about the use of library resources.

The ideal candidate must have a passion for books and reading. They should have excellent customer service skills, be organized and detail oriented, possess good research skills, and have a working knowledge of computers. Previous experience is preferred but not necessary as on the job training will be provided.
