Housekeeping Manager
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management and be able to lead a team of housekeepers to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of housekeepers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and standards to ensure consistent quality
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness
- Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or events
- Maintain budget and track expenses for the housekeeping department
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Knowledge of budgeting and inventory management
- Must be eligible to work in Qatar
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Experience working in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Familiarity with local health codes and regulations
