Accountant - Sharjah, UAE


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Monitor company expenses and recommend cost-saving strategies
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues
- Provide financial analysis and guidance to assist with business decision-making
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of transactions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
- Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
- Team player with excellent communication skills
