Housekeeping Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team in Umm-Said. As a Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and employee areas. You will oversee a team of housekeeping staff and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Respond to guest requests and complaints regarding housekeeping services
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures to improve efficiency and maintain quality standards
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest room turnover and special requests
- Monitor budget expenditures for the housekeeping department
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or resort setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team effectively
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Urdu is a plus)
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
