Restaurant Manager - Doha, Qatar (Contract)
A popular restaurant in Doha is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and manage a team of employees. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Manage and train staff, ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction
- Create schedules, coordinate staff shifts, and handle payroll
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to maximize profits
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with the chef to create new menu items and specials
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to discuss performance and address any concerns
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-volume establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Fluency in English (Arabic language skills are an asset)
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1000 USD per month.
Location:
This job is located in Doha, Qatar. Relocation or accommodation will not be provided for this position.
