Indian Chef in Lusail, Qatar
As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Indian dishes for our restaurant in Lusail. Your main goal will be to satisfy customers with delicious and visually appealing meals while maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute the menu of Indian dishes, taking into consideration the preferences of our customers
- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes with a focus on flavor, presentation, and authenticity
- Ensure food quality by following recipes and quality control procedures
- Monitor food stock levels, order ingredients as needed, and maintain inventory records
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards
- Follow strict hygiene standards in food preparation, cooking, serving, and storage
- Collaborate with other team members to constantly improve menu offerings and introduce new dishes
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef or Cook in a reputable restaurant or hotel setting
- Excellent knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine, spices, ingredients, cooking methods, and flavors
- Ability to create unique dishes while maintaining authenticity
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage kitchen staff
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Good communication skills
- Fluency in Hindi or other regional Indian languages preferred
Salary: 1100$ per month
