Seasonal Executive Chef
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Executive Chef to join our team for a seasonal position in Muharraq, Bahrain. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring the highest quality of food and service. This position requires a biometric passport and is open to recent graduates looking to gain experience in the culinary field.
Responsibilities:
- Create menus and develop new recipes that meet our standards and appeal to our customers
- Train, develop, and manage kitchen staff to maintain a high level of performance and productivity
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all food safety regulations are followed
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation according to established recipes and standards
- Monitor food costs and work towards reducing waste
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
Requirements:
- Graduation from a culinary arts program or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a high-volume restaurant or hotel kitchen
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and food presentation
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Biometric passport
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
