Cashier for Indian Nationals in Al-Rayyan, Qatar

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Scan items and ensure accurate pricing
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle returns and exchanges in a timely manner
- Answer customer questions and provide information about products or store policies
- Keep track of inventory levels and notify the management team when items need to be restocked
- Follow all cash handling procedures to minimize errors and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions using computerized systems
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the store

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Strong numeracy skills with the ability to handle cash accurately
- Basic understanding of computerized cash register systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
