Executive Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement menus that showcase traditional Indian cuisine with a modern twist
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of cooking, cleanliness, and organization
- Source and select the best quality ingredients for our dishes
- Monitor food costs to ensure profitability while maintaining quality
- Maintain a safe and sanitary working environment in accordance with health codes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and introduce new techniques to enhance menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine, including regional variations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments
- Understanding of food costs, inventory management, and menu planning
- Fluency in English is preferred but not required
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1600$ per month, depending on experience.
