Office Assistant (Malayalee) in Sharjah
A reputable company is seeking a competent and hardworking Office Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. As a Malayalee office assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth running of our office operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for all visitors and clients, providing a friendly and professional reception service
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary
- Assist with general office tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for senior staff members
- Make travel arrangements and coordinate logistics for meetings or events
- Monitor inventory levels of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Provide support to other departments as needed
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role is preferred
- Fluency in Malayalam is essential; knowledge of English is a plus but not required
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor
