Seasonal Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team for a seasonal position in Sharjah. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation, ensuring high quality and delicious meals are served to our guests. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in a seasonal or resort setting, and must possess strong leadership skills to manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that are both innovative and appealing to our guests
- Oversee food ordering, preparation, and presentation according to company standards
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to proper food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels and control food waste to maintain budgetary requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of all food-related services
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a similar setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and menu planning
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have own accommodation in Sharjah
This is a seasonal position with competitive salary of 1100$ per month. Applicants must have their own visa for employment. Freshers with relevant culinary education or experience may also apply.
