Executive Chef for a Luxury Hotel in Lusail, Qatar
A luxury hotel in Lusail, Qatar is seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join their team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's culinary operations and ensuring high quality, delicious food for guests.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus and create new dishes that reflect the hotel's brand and meet guest preferences
- Manage food inventory and maintain cost control measures
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of events and catering services
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into menu planning
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and ingredients
- Ability to create menu items that cater to different dietary restrictions or preferences
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- A creative mindset with a passion for continuously improving culinary offerings
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred
Additional Information:
This is a contract position with accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own visa or be willing to obtain one. Preference will be given to African or Egyptian candidates. English fluency is required.
