Cashier (Contract) - Sofia, Bulgaria
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team on a contract basis in Sofia, Bulgaria. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist them with their purchases
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies
- Answer customer inquiries about products, services, and store policies
- Promote loyalty programs and new products to customers
- Ensure all prices and product descriptions are accurate on shelves and displays
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain store standards
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent math skills with the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Bulgarian would be an asset
Working Conditions:
