Sous Chef
Location: Plovdiv, Bulgaria
We are hiring a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to assist our head chef in managing our kitchen operations in Plovdiv. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for supervising and training kitchen staff, creating menus, and ensuring the quality and consistency of all dishes served. The ideal candidate will have a degree in culinary arts and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the head chef to create menus that meet quality standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Degree in culinary arts or relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
