Indian Pastry Chef in Doha, Qatar
We are seeking a skilled and creative Indian Pastry Chef to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts for our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Indian flavors and ingredients, as well as a strong knowledge of pastry techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts using traditional Indian flavors and ingredients
- Develop new dessert recipes that incorporate local ingredients and reflect the culture of Doha
- Manage inventory of pastry supplies and ensure proper stock levels
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs in the kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry station
- Collaborate with other chefs to create well-balanced menus
- Monitor food quality and ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Pastry Chef with a focus on Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian flavors and ingredients
- Familiarity with pastry techniques such as tempering chocolate, making meringues, etc.
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines during busy dining periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique dessert recipes
- Good communication skills to work effectively with other team members
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Doha, Qatar (accommodation provided)
