Logistics Coordinator
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation and distribution of goods for our company in Sharjah. You will work closely with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of products. Your main duties will include tracking shipments, preparing shipping documents, and managing inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and track shipments from suppliers to customers
- Prepare and process shipping documents including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment
- Resolve any issues or delays in shipments
- Maintain accurate records of all shipment activities
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management
- Excellent communication skills in English (Malayalee preferred)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
