Duties

• Operate appropriate welding equipment to put together metal components
• Read blueprints and drawings and take measurements to plan layout and procedures
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
• Set up components for welding according to specifications
• Work with appropriate materials, such as steel and iron, using MIG and TIG welding techniques
• Deburr, grind and smooth metal finished parts using required equipment
