Merchandiser in Reef Al Fujairah City, UAE
Reef Al Fujairah City is looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the merchandise inventory, ensuring the stock is properly displayed and marketed in the retail stores, and oversee customer service.
To be successful in this role, you should have strong organizational and communication skills. Additionally, you must possess excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to work independently. Experience in a similar role is also essential.
Main responsibilities include:
• Analyzing sales trends and adjusting merchandise accordingly
• Preparing budgets, analyzing financial statements and developing strategies to improve profitability
• Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers
• Ensuring store shelves are replenished with merchandise according to demand
• Providing training to store personnel on merchandising techniques
• Developing effective marketing strategies for products
• Conducting market research on consumers’ tastes and preferences
• Ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing complaints or inquiries promptly
The ideal candidate should have:
• Previous experience in merchandising or a related field
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
• Excellent analytical skills with knowledge of quantitative analysis
• Good understanding of marketing principles and strategies
