Job Responsibilities:
The Optometrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye exams including the use of various diagnostic equipment such as auto-refractors and retinoscopes; detecting and diagnosing ocular diseases; prescribing corrective lenses; assessing the need for vision therapy; writing prescriptions for medications; selecting frames; fitting contact lenses; performing visual field testing; offering preventive care advice to patients; maintaining patient records; managing staff members in the practice.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or equivalent
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as an optometrist with the State Board of Optometry
• Good knowledge of optometric principles, practices and techniques
• Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office)
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
