We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Doha. The position will involve ensuring the quality of medications and providing accurate advice to our customers about their prescriptions.
The ideal candidate should have a degree in Pharmacy or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience working in a pharmacy or related medical setting. They should also have a good understanding of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and standards. Excellent communication skills and knowledge of the most current medications on the market are also essential for this role.
The primary responsibility of this role is to dispense medications accurately and safely. This involves verifying that each prescription is correct and scanning it into the pharmacy’s computer system. Additionally, the Pharmacist will be responsible for advising customers about potential drug interactions, warning about possible side effects, and answering any questions that patients may have about their medications. Other duties include ordering new stock when needed, assisting other pharmacists with filling orders, creating labels for different types of medications, and keeping up-to-date records on patient information.
To be successful in this position, the candidate must possess strong organizational skills as well as excellent customer service skills; they must be able to anticipate customer needs and provide accurate advice in a timely manner. They must also be comfortable working with computers and other technology related to managing medication orders. In addition to these qualifications, candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills as well as an ability to work independently or as part of a team.
