Executive Chef - Dubai
We are looking for a dedicated, experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef to take the next step in their career and take on a leadership position. The successful candidate will have the responsibility of managing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu creation and execution, purchasing and ordering supplies, staff management and ensuring that all health and safety standards are met.
Job Description:
The Executive Chef will be responsible for creating menus with innovative dishes while keeping in mind customer tastes, dietary requirements, costs and budgeting. They will oversee the development of staff skills through training and mentoring and ensure that they are up to date with local trends. The Executive Chef will also be responsible for regularly evaluating the performance of kitchen staff and making decisions on hiring new team members. Additionally, they will manage inventory control systems to ensure that all food items are ordered on time and within budget.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role you must possess at least 5 yearsā experience as a head chef or executive chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment with proven success in menu creation, cost management and people management skills. You will have strong knowledge of food safety regulations as well as experience working with budgets and ordering supplies from vendors. You must also have excellent communication skills both verbal and written as well as good organizational skills. Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is beneficial but not required.
Hours & Duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to work 40-50 hours per week depending on business needs including evenings/weekends when required by the operationās needs. Duties include menu development & design; managing kitchen staff & resources; ordering supplies; cost & budget management; training & mentoring staff; developing recipes; overseeing food production & presentation; maintaining records & documentation; ensuring compliance with food safety regulations etc..
