Accountant – Ajman

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Ajman. The successful candidate will be expected to work with accuracy and attention to detail in order to produce accurate financial records.

The successful applicant should have experience working in a similar role, ideally within an accounting or finance department. The ability to work with figures, analyze data and spot discrepancies is essential. Excellent communication skills are also important as the Accountant will need to interact with colleagues and clients on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of all daily financial transactions
- Process invoices, payments and other financial documents
- Reconcile customer accounts and generate financial reports as needed
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for review by management
- Audit, verify and reconcile all accounting entries
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and internal policies
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and other financial projections as required
- Recommend measures for improving systems and internal controls
- Train junior staff members when necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field of study
- Proven experience working as an Accountant or similar role
- In depth understanding of accounting principles, regulations and legislation - Excellent numerical skills with the ability to analyze data accurately - Strong communication skills both verbal and written - Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks - Ability to work independently or part of a team Immigrants are welcome to apply for this position.
