We are looking for an experienced and motivated Executive Chef to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. This position offers a salary of 1500 per month and we are open to considering foreign candidates.
The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 5 years of experience as a professional chef, preferably in a luxury property or similar environment. They should be able to demonstrate expertise in menu creation, food presentation, and kitchen organization; as well as the ability to work with multiple ingredients and complex dishes. A passion for cooking is essential, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
The Executive Chef’s main responsibilities will include overseeing all daily kitchen operations while ensuring that all staff adhere to the highest standards of safety and hygiene; developing new menu items based on customer feedback and industry trends; managing the budget for food purchases; tracking kitchen inventory; monitoring staff performance; holding regular team meetings; and motivating the team to deliver excellence.
The successful candidate must possess exceptional organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, good leadership qualities, attention to detail, creativity when it comes to menu design, multitasking capabilities, problem-solving skills, up-to-date knowledge of food trends and techniques, and an understanding of health regulations regarding food preparation. A certificate or degree in culinary arts is preferred but not required.
