The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, maintaining and analyzing financial records. Demands for the Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. They should also have the ability to communicate accurately and concisely with colleagues, customers and suppliers in both English and Arabic. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is preferred, but we are happy to consider experienced professionals with a relevant background. We would also be willing to consider an immigrant for this role.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare, maintain and analyze financial records
• Reconcile accounts daily
• Ensure accuracy of information entered into company databases
• Record data into various ledger accounts
• Monitor cash flow levels
• Generate financial reports on demand
• Help clients with their questions or concerns about their accounts
• Prepare accounting documents such as invoices, bills, checks etc.
• Assist in the preparation of yearly budgets
• Analyze expenses for cost savings opportunities

Experience & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Previous experience working as an accountant preferred
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Excel
