Librarian in Zayed City, UAE
We are looking for an organized and passionate Librarian to join our team in Zayed City. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library, organizing its resources and providing information to our customers.
The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills and a strong knowledge of library resources. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively is essential. Previous experience in a library would be an advantage, but we are also open to consider candidates without prior experience.
The main duties of the librarian include: developing and organizing library collections; creating and updating catalogs; providing reference services; helping customers find relevant materials; giving presentations in community events; conducting research on different topics; assisting with administrative tasks such as taking inventory, ordering books, and managing invoices.
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field and possess excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, computer, and organizational skills. A high level of motivation and enthusiasm is also essential. We offer a competitive salary of 1300 per month for this role.
