Accountant - Zayed City

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Zayed City. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in accounting and a proven track record of success. This role offers a salary of 1000 and we are open to considering immigrants for the position.

Job Description:
The Accountant is primarily responsible for managing the financial operations of the business. This includes daily bookkeeping, preparing financial records, managing accounts receivable/payable, preparing financial reports, and resolving any discrepancies that arise. The Accountant will also ensure compliance with all state and federal laws related to accounting practices.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 3 years professional accounting experience
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS standards and regulations
• Proficient in QuickBooks, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Responsibilities:
• Manage all general ledger activity including accounts receivable/payable, cash receipts/disbursements, etc.
• Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
• Reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis and investigate any discrepancies or irregularities found during reconciliation processes
• Monitor cash flow requirements to ensure availability of funds when needed
• Provide support for budgeting activities such as forecasting cash flow needs
• Prepare payroll tax returns as well as other federal, state, and local taxes when required • Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting laws and regulations
