Land surveyor in Sharjah, UAE


We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out land surveys and providing technical advice on a wide range of projects. You will be required to accurately measure and record land boundaries and distances, as well as working with GPS equipment and software to create detailed maps.

In this role, you must be well-organized with excellent attention to detail, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and have strong analytical skills. You should also possess strong communication skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should also have experience working in the Middle East region and have a valid driving license.

Responsibilities:
• Utilize surveying equipment (GPS, laser rangefinders etc.) to accurately map land boundaries
• Analyze survey data to ensure accuracy
• Prepare detailed maps by interpreting aerial photographs
• Research survey records to identify discrepancies or inconsistencies
• Provide technical advice on proposed projects
• Adhere to safety protocols when working onsite
• Liaise with clients to discuss project requirements
• Adhere to local laws when carrying out surveys


Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in surveying or related field
• Proven experience as a Land Surveyor (preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or other related software programs
• Working knowledge of GPS systems and tools
• Familiarity with surveying regulations/standards in Sharjah
• Ability to interpret aerial photographs
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail • Excellent organizational skills • Strong verbal communication skills • Valid driver’s license (preferred) • Willingness to travel (preferred) • Experience working in the Middle East region (preferred)

Salary & Benefits: We are offering an attractive salary of 1600 AED per month plus other benefits as per UAE labor law. We are also willing to consider an immigrant for this position.
