We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library, ensuring that it is well organised and up-to-date with the latest publications. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service and be knowledgeable about the latest library technology.

The Librarian will be responsible for providing a range of services such as circulation, cataloguing and reference services. In addition, the Librarian will be expected to maintain and update the library’s collection, provide advice about books and other resources, organize events for readers and much more.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field, as well as at least two years of experience working in a similar role. Experience with library systems (e.g. Innovative Interfaces Inc., Ex Libris), databases (e.g. EBSCOhost, ProQuest) and digital archives is highly desirable.

The successful applicant must have excellent interpersonal skills and should have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. We are open to considering an immigrant for this position; please note that the salary will be 1500 AED per month plus benefits including health insurance coverage.
