Job Summary:
A Cashier position is open at our Ras-al-Khaimah location. This position requires at least three years of experience in the field and we are open to considering immigrants for the role. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out all duties related to cashiering and customer service in a professional manner.
Responsibilities:
The Cashier’s primary responsibilities include but are not limited to; operating a cash register, ensuring accuracy of transactions and maintaining a friendly customer service attitude. The Cashier will be expected to process payments from customers, maintain an accurate record of all transactions, answer customer inquiries and provide assistance where needed. They must also ensure that the store’s regulations regarding cash handling are followed at all times.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should have at least three years of experience working as a cashier in a retail setting, have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable using standard cash register equipment. They should also possess excellent math skills, have an exceptional eye for detail and be able to multi-task effectively while working in a fast-paced environment. It is important that they remain organized while handling multiple tasks simultaneously and demonstrate strong communication skills with customers as well as with other team members.
