Librarian vacancy in Dubai
We are looking for an experienced librarian to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a passion for books and knowledge, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a librarian
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good computer skills, including MS Office and Library Management Software
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Must be legally authorized to work in the UAE
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of library services including cataloguing, circulation, reference services, collection development, supervision of staff, policy implementation and customer service. Additionally they will provide guidance to library patrons on the use of library resources and assist with special projects as needed.
