Job Description:
The Librarian's primary responsibilities include cataloguing and classifying library materials, overseeing circulation of materials and maintaining an efficient retrieval system. They also provide reference services to customers such as researching topics, locating information sources, preparing bibliographies, answering questions related to the material in the library. Additionally, they will manage the databases related to library materials; assist with special collections; prepare reports on library activities; purchase new materials; promote the use of the library; and maintain a safe environment for patrons.

Requirements For This Position:
Applicants must have at least 2 years experience working in a library setting or similar knowledge-based environment. Candidates should possess excellent customer service skills as well as strong organizational abilities. A Bachelor's degree in Library Science or similar field is preferred but not required. Fluency in English is essential while proficiency in other languages is desirable but not essential. Knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite is beneficial but not necessary.
