Secretary in Doha, Qatar
We are looking for an experienced and organized Secretary to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the management team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
The Secretary must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to manage multiple tasks at once with a high level of accuracy. The ideal candidate should also possess strong organizational skills and have an eye for detail. A working knowledge of MS Office and other computer programs is essential.
Responsibilities:
• Handling incoming calls and emails
• Organizing meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes
• Preparing reports, presentations, documents and correspondence
• Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, organizing travel arrangements
• Sorting mail, filing documents, photocopying/scanning documents
• Performing basic bookkeeping duties
• Maintaining accurate records
• Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a Secretary or Administrative Assistant in a similar role
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Other languages are desirable but not essential • Ability to be proactive when needed to help keep the office running smoothly
