Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team at Zayed City. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including but not limited to financial record keeping, budget preparation, payroll calculations, and cash management. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and have a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements for the Candidate
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and have 3+ years of professional experience in accounting or bookkeeping in a corporate setting. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not required. We are also open to considering foreigners who meet the qualifications.
Job Responsibilities
• Create and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare budget reports, financial statements, tax returns, payroll information and other documents as needed
• Analyze financial data and report findings to management
• Monitor cash flow activities and provide recommendations on cost-saving measures
• Manage accounts payable/receivable processes
• Reconcile bank statements on a regular basis
• Assist with auditing processes as needed
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field from an accredited college/university
• CPA certification is preferred but not required
• 3+ years of professional experience in accounting or bookkeeping in a corporate setting
• Computer proficiency including knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and other related software
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
