Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team in Zayed City. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of cash management practices and be able to accurately handle cash transactions. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for ensuring that all customer transactions are processed in a timely and correct manner. You will also provide excellent customer service and foster a positive atmosphere within the store.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter the store
- Handle financial transactions quickly, accurately and in accordance with company policies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of store policies related to payments
- Assist customers with locating items, answering questions and providing general information
- Balance daily sales transactions
- Issue receipts, refunds or change due to customers
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Manage cash register operations such as opening and closing registers when necessary
- Follow all safety protocols as provided by the company
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as Cashier or similar role
- Understanding of basic bookkeeping principles
- Solid math skills with the ability to make accurate calculations quickly
- Knowledge of cash register operations and credit/debit card processing protocols
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Education & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred but not required - Immigrants are welcome to apply
