Optometrist Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Al Shamkhah City. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and experience with a variety of optometric procedures. This position offers a competitive salary of 1700. We are open to considering candidates from abroad.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Optometrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye examinations, fitting patients for contact lenses and glasses, diagnosing vision issues, monitoring the development of vision issues, prescribing medications, educating patients about eye care, performing minor surgeries such as laser vision correction or intraocular injections. In addition to these duties, the Optometrist will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is correctly maintained and up-to-date at all times.

Qualifications and Education
The successful candidate must be registered as an optometrist in Al Shamkhah City or have the necessary qualifications to obtain registration upon arrival. A doctorate degree in optometry or ophthalmology is preferred but not required. The successful candidate should also have at least two years of experience practicing optometry in Al Shamkhah City or abroad and demonstrate expertise in a variety of optometric techniques including contact lens fittings, refractions and retinal imaging.

Experience
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written as well as strong interpersonal skills when dealing with patients. Candidates should also demonstrate an ability to work independently while still being part of a team environment. Knowledge of computer systems such as Electronic Health Records (EHR) is beneficial but not required.
