Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library’s functions and activities, including cataloging and classifying books, magazines, and other materials; developing collections; providing reference services; and assisting patrons with research projects. The librarian will also develop programs to promote reading and literacy, create online learning resources, and lead library tours. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field, as well as experience working in a library setting.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field required
• Prior experience working in a library setting preferred
• Professional certification as a librarian may be required by some employers
• Knowledge of cataloging systems such as Dewey Decimal system or MARC21 standards
• Proficient in using computers and software such as Microsoft Office Suite or Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively on projects
