Job Description: The Librarian is a highly organized individual with a passion for helping people connect with the right resources. The candidate will be responsible for organizing, archiving and cataloging library materials as well as providing reference services to patrons. The successful candidate must be comfortable working with both physical and digital collections, as well as have strong communication skills.

Qualifications & Skills: A Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field is preferred but not required. Knowledge of library classification systems, research techniques and information retrieval systems is essential. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, multitasking ability and problem-solving aptitude.

Experience: Previous experience working in a library or related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities: The Librarian will be responsible for managing the library’s collections, providing reference services to patrons, maintaining electronic databases, cataloging materials and organizing special collections projects. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and have good communication skills. Other tasks may include assisting patrons with locating materials, creating displays of new materials or conducting workshops on library usage.
