Office assistant in Abu-Dhabi, UAE
We are seeking an experienced Office Assistant to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operations of the office.
The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask effectively. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy is essential in this role. Additionally, the Office Assistant should be able to work independently, but also as part of a team when necessary.
Responsibilities include:
• Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate office or individual
• Handling incoming calls and other communications
• Managing filing systems
• Preparing documents, including letters, memos, invoices, presentations, reports, etc.
• Maintaining office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and ordering new supplies as needed
• Supporting other departments when necessary
• Performing general office duties such as photocopying, faxing, data entry etc.
• Ensuring the reception area is clean and tidy at all times
• Assisting with other related clerical duties as required
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a similar role or environment required (preferred)
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in all MS Office applications (required) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required) • Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment (required) • High School Diploma or equivalent (required), degree in business administration or related field preferred • Fluency in English (required). Fluency in Arabic will be considered an advantage • Willingness to consider an immigrant (required)
