Khalifa A City is looking for a Cashier to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling cash and processing payments quickly and accurately.

The Cashier must be comfortable providing excellent customer service, working well under pressure and remaining professional at all times. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential as the Cashier will be responsible for timely, accurate processing of payments from customers. The Cashier should also be able to work with minimal supervision, maintain excellent time management skills and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Accurately process payments for customers
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is enough change
- Handle credit card transactions with care
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
- Balance cash drawers at the end of the shift
- Maintain an orderly checkout area
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working as a Cashier or in retail/customer service environment
- Ability to handle cash transactions quickly and accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- An understanding of basic math concepts such as fractions, decimals and percentages is preferred.
