Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team in Doha. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records. You should possess the ability to handle customer complaints, maintain a positive attitude and multitask in a professional manner. The successful candidate should also be able to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to policies and procedures.
Demands for the Candidate
The ideal candidate should have at least two years of experience working as a cashier in a retail setting. You must have excellent customer service skills, strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure. Knowledge of basic accounting principles is also preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
• Greet customers when they enter the store
• Process payments accurately
• Answer customer questions in a friendly manner
• Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally
• Manage financial transactions accurately
• Balance cash register drawers at the end of each shift
• Maintain cleanliness of checkout areas
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least two years of cashiering experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask professionally
• Proficiency with basic accounting principles preferred
