We are seeking an experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years' experience working in a library setting.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to library patrons and managing the day-to-day operations of the library. This includes cataloguing, shelving books and other materials, helping patrons find information, responding to inquiries and requests, maintaining records and databases, supervising staff, and creating a welcoming environment for patrons.

The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, an eye for detail and accuracy, good interpersonal communication skills and the ability to think quickly on their feet. A strong understanding of library systems, processes and standards is also essential. They should also be familiar with all aspects of computer usage including Microsoft Office applications.

This position offers a competitive salary of 1500 AED per month with additional benefits such as medical insurance. We are ready to consider applicants who are immigrants to Dubai as well as those already living there.
